8/09: Individualized System for Supporting Afterschool Programs (ISS-AP)

 

 ISS-AP is a newly formed strategy, created in partnership with the Vermont Center for Afterschool Excellence and funded by the Vermont Department of Education, to provide consultation services, technical assistance, and professional development opportunities to afterschool programs throughout the state of Vermont.  The purpose of ISS-AP is to create systemic change within afterschool programs for continued growth.   Questions regarding ISS-AP services should be directed to Lynne Feal-Staub or Holly Morehouse (contact information below).

This course engages students in an exploration of the growing field of afterschool age care and education. This course provides students with an understanding of the history of the afterschool field and examines the skills and training that are needed to successfully develop and administer high-quality programming in afterschool settings.
