Middle School-Practices that Work -please contribute and....

I recently heard this segment on "This American Life" and it just REALLY REALLY captured what it's like to be a middle school student. It explored the physical and emotional changes, the pressures - everything! Listening to it just reaffirmed my passion for working with this age group...maybe it's worth sharing on the wiki for folks that work with middle schoolers? It's worth a listen - just very very interesting!

to meet with state legislators and leaders to advance learning and policy around afterschool and expanded learning in Vermont. This is also a day to celebrate the important role that youth workers, afterschool providers, and program staff play in helping to build a strong foundation for the children and youth of Vermont.
