Have you registered for the 2012 Vermont Afterschool Legislative Day? If not, please consider joining your colleagues and legislators from across the state at this important event. Afterschool Legislative Day is the one day per year that program directors, staff, and students have the ability to talk with their legislators about the important work happening in afterschool programs in a statewide forum. This day is a critical piece of the advocacy efforts needed to sustain programming.

It seems really well designed and programs in other states including NH have reported it to be valuable. In particular the model lends itself to some self directed staff training.
