http://www.cvswmd.org/resources-for-teachers.html I observed an exciting lesson/ partnership at Hardwick this week where kids were learning about and building a worm composting system. The staff person was from the Central Vermont Solid Waste District, of all places. (Only one in the state) A really great entry point for science! Everyone could have composting systems! I love my compost at home, especially figuring out how to make it work better. These are fun engaging projects to consider year round if you are not composting on site.
